Recycling and "bottling lightening"

In 1888 Reefton turned on the first public electricity supply in the Southern Hemisphere. The electrical engineer when describing his vision to light the town up, stated he would "bottle lightening" and light the town's streets.....Reefton Design Studio is bottling lightening once more, using recycled bottles, washing machine engine copper and led lights and creating a Reefton bottle that shines. It comes with a story on the Powerhouse and where we got our inspiration from.
